My
prefix "Blarny" is registered with the Royal New South Wales Canine
Council (trading as 'Dogs NSW') and my membership with this organization as a registered breeder
obligates me to a strict code of ethics.
I am
a member of the Boxer Club of NSW, I serve on the Committee and hold the
position of News Sheet Editor.
My active involvement with the breed
began some years ago when I purchased my first pet boxer (Steffi) although my exposure to boxers began with my uncle's dogs
during my childhood, many years before.
Shortly after Steffi's arrival I began
attending dog shows. It wasn't long before I was bitten by the show-bug
and the search for my first show dog began.
First Show Dog Found
It was some time before I found a bitch that would fit all my criteria.
She was a very glamorous youngster only three months old by the name of
Blueprint Dares to Dream. It was
almost another six months before I could convince Mark Johnston of
Blueprint Boxers to part with half her ownership!
My Dream
Not long after, I began
pursuing the dream of one day owning a boxer similar to those my uncle
once owned while living in Europe years ago.
Hard Work and Tragedy
After many months of research I
discovered that I was continually drawn to the Italian breeder Alessandro
Tanoni and his beautiful dogs at "del Colle dell'Infinito". I approached Alessandro, and some time
later he sent me a wonderful dog by the name of Marlboro del Colle
dell'Infinito. Sadly
Marlboro's life was tragically cut short soon after
his arrival from Italy.
Alessandro Tanoni graciously replaced him with a
strapping young male by the name of Oliviero del Colle dell'Infinito.
News
On a recent visit to the kennels of Alessandro Tanoni I found a very
promising youngster......it is hoped she will compliment the bloodlines
already procured.
Fiamma del Colle
dell'Infinito has arrived!
