Blarny Boxers are the most comprehensively health tested boxers in Australia and are thoroughly health tested PRIOR to breeding.
Legislation introduced into NSW on 1st June, 2004 prohibits the docking of tails therefore all puppies born at Blarny after this date will have long tails.
Although I prefer short tails, the decision has been made NOT to introduce the CORGI BOBTAIL gene into the breeding program at Blarny Boxers. The pursuit of a 'short' tail cannot be justified when it is at the detriment of other attributes that makes the Boxer stand apart from all other breeds.

| Recently, other breeders have bred bobtail boxers by using progeny sired by my stud dog 'Oliviero del Colle dell'Infinito'. It was never my intention, when I allowed him to be used at stud, that he would contribute to the breeding of bobtail boxers... this practice has NOT been endorsed by me! |
